Hi,
Try boot into safe mode by pressing F8 key during boot and login as administrator. Go to device manager, double click the DVD/CD-Rom drives, right click on the DVD-rom and click uninstall, click OK. Exit all windows and then reboot. After reboot, windows should found new hardware and install the proper drivers for the DVD-rom. Go to device manager and check to ensure it works properly. Hope it helps. Peter "EddieR840" wrote: > Prior to installing SP2, My DVDplayerworked perfectly. ASfter some probs i > uninstalled SP2. Since then i cannot get my DVD player to work.
