older scanner

I have a hp scanjet 2200c scanner and it will not work
with my window xp computer. It keep telling me no scanner
found.

and downloaded and the drivers and installed them, what happened?

Did they not install?

Have you obtained the XP Drivers?

(link may wrap). The drivers/software are a 42 MB download. If you don't
have access to a broadband net connection, you can get in on CD for approx.
$10US.
