We, at Helpdesk, have been having problems with Acer CDrom drives not reading disks properly. Also when swapping out a CD & then inserting another CD you only see the first CD and only a reboot will resolve the problem.

If this is happening to you, then pop along to Acer's (now called Benq) and get the latest firmware for your CD drive.

You will need the correct model number so you'll need to pop out the CD drive and have a look.
