"What remains unchanged is that the Windows XP OEM license is between the
OEM and the end user and that the product is typically licensed for use with the hardware or PC on which it was first installed." Well me thinks the 'or pc' part pretty much covers that unless your changing the case too! I'm using an oem from a laptop on my desktop, I have four hard drives in it with the same xp loaded on each (one for games only, one for doing video.....) and I have it on my raid for playing with. Each one is activated and I activated 3 of them on the same phone call without any problem. The lady was very nice and waited while I rebooted to the other 2 hard drives. That's what I call service. Is it my fault that xp has to be tuned for specific tasks? |
