Did you check the chip set driver for the motherboard to
see if you have the correct drivers for the motherboard? Try to install them. >-----Original Message----- >My graphics card no longer works and wehn I tyr to update >the drivers in device manager the display adapter icon is >not present. You said (My graphics card no longer works ) if this is
correct how are you able to view device manager?? I suggest you change your adapter to default VGA this will limit your colors to 16 (really sucks) and reinstall your drivers for your proper card, if this fails, then most likely your video card has failed and needs replacing. although from your post it just sound like the drivers have become corrupted, have you tried restoring your system from a point where the video card worked??? >-----Original Message----- >My graphics card no longer works and wehn I tyr to update >the drivers in device manager the display adapter icon is >not present. Hi,
First download and install the latest hyperion drivers for your system board. Check the chipset in the system board before you download the drivers. You can get the latest Hyperion drivers at the following web site: http://www.viaarena.com/?pageid=300 Then, re-install your display drivers. Contact your PC manufacturer for more information on getting the drivers for the system. Best of luck Prasad "K.
