how to open a maximized (normal) window instead of maximizing it !?

If you mean that you want to set a particular program to
open in a normal or maximised window istead of changing
it manually after opening it, then, right click the
program (in your programs list) select "properties" then
change the setting in the drop down box labelled "run"
