Default microsoft intellimouse explorer for bluetooth - crashes!!!

(op.system: windowsxp + windowsxp service pack1)

I've bought the "microsoft intellimouse explorer for bluetooth" an
installed the software included.

First the mouse works well, but after not moving the mouse for a fe
minutes and then moving again, there is a time delay of 1-4 second
till the mouse pointer even moves.

Sometimes the mouse pointer do not move any more until you press an
mouse button.

I checked the mouse on an another computer with windowsxp + windowsx
service pack1 but there was no difference.

Now, I'm completely desperate...can anyone solve this problem?

Regards,
gutschg

"gutschge"

It's NOT really a 'problem'.... it's standard behaviour. Your Intelligent
Mouse is conserving the battery power by hibernating when it thinks you
don't need it.... and waking up when it realises you do.

Hope that helps
