I get this whenever I plug my new usb 2 IPOD into my usb 1 laptop. I know
why it is happening, I just don't know how to disable the message from popping up everytime I plug in the ipod..... tia, B |

I've got the very same issue with the added problem that much of the time I
can't get the device (a PNY Attaché 128Mb Flash Disk) to work either, even though all shows fine in Device Manager; i.e., "working properly." There is no doubt that this is an issue with XP; every day there is another unresolved thread about it. The device didn't work at all before I downloaded every non-critical windows update available (equivalent to SP1a). If I were you, I'd just be glad that the IPOD is working! ![]() "Bill Unger" <billu@nospam.com> wrote in message news:100vr5rsiu2er9f@corp.supernews.com... > I get this whenever I plug my new usb 2 IPOD into my usb 1 laptop.
