When I restart my Nvidia drivers don't load, the computer
uses generic VGA and monitor settings. I am using the latest drivers from Nvidia. It didn't fix it when I rolled back the driver. The device manager says that it failed to load - code 10 or something like that. If I run the installation program for the Nvidia drivers it loads them as long as I do not restart. Anyone have any ideas? |

Hi,
It is possible that the driver is corrupted. First, change the display to VGA mode and reboot. Then go to add or remove program to remove the nvidia driver and reboot. Temporary disable any antivirus software and then re-install the latest nvidia detonator driver. Do not interupt during the installation process until you are prompted to reboot. Hope it helps. BTW: The Detonator drivers are now called ForceWare.
