Default removing device drivers

Wehn I upgraded from w2k to XP I had a HP scanjet II
connected to a Tekram SCSI controller. The system BSODs
on aspi32.sys. I unistalled the hardware but the system
still attempts to load the drivers and would consequently
BSOD. I changed the driver names and the system is now
stable. In w2k I could go into devices and prevent the
system from loading the driver. How do I do this in XP?

Thanks.

Default RE: removing device drivers

Hi,

Go to Bart's page to download the aspi manager.
http://www.nu2.nu/aspi/
There is a link to adaptec.com for download ASPI manager and its utilities.
