Default Please help- Drive letter problems

i have just bought an msi mega pc, added my own HD,
memory
etc. My problem is when i installed windows xp i didnt
disconect the usb card readers, therfor windows formated
the HD as drive F, the card readers as C & D and the dvd
drive as drive E.....I have no floppy drive and no
network
or internet conection at the moment. Is there a way to
reformat the HD so i can recognise it as C Drive??? i have
tried to start from scatch and to re install xp, it will
not allow me to delete the partition and just instaals
over the old install on drive f. Can i rename the drive in
windows.
Thanks

Although it specifically mentions zip drives, it's the same behavior as
http://support.microsoft.com/defaul...kb;en-us;304776

Solution is to reinstall.
