Default Driver Problems

Device manager is registering errors with several drivers:
Network Adapters -- Direct Parallel, SMC EZ Card, WAN Miniport
System Devices -- Microcode Update Device, Plug&Play Device Enumerator, Terminal Server Keyboard/Mouse
USB Controllers -- USB Root Hub

My CD ROM is inoperative and therefore unable to reload XP, and no longer have no access to the internet.

Just prior to this problem I received a 'blue screen" and the system ran the disk check.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Rreplace the CD-Rom as soon as possible! You will need to re-load XP.

Try System Restore (All Programs - Accesories - System
Tools - System Restore)

Is this a virus problem or major system problem?
