http://ciscdb.sel.sony.com/cgi-bin/select-di.pl

Select your model, click on Drivers&Updates.
Use the Windows 2000 one (should work with XP)

Default Drivers for Windows XP for Sony MVC-CD500 Camera
The Windows 2000 driver you find by following the below
directions should work with Windows 2000 Pro. If it
doesn't, you should contact Sony technical support and
ask.
