Default LARGE HARD DRIVE LIMIT IN XP

Windows XP has a HDD SIZE LIMIT of 138GB.
I can achieve full capacity once Windows XP (with SP1) is
installed.
....BUT I need to run Setup with full 160GB HDD capacity
at the time of initial Partitioning & Formatting.
....How can I do this?

Phil.

The BIOS controls hard drive size, up date your BIOS

You also might try slipstreaming SP1 onto a burned
windows CD, That way, you can have SP1 "installed" at
setup.
For information on how to do this, go to

Use a version of the Windows XP installation CD that has SP1
incorporated in it.
