IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers

Default IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers


In device manager it lists cdrom drives and ide ata/atapi
controllers, are the ide ata/atapi controllers for the
cdrom drives? If so, tell me why windows does that?

Device manager lists devices, IDE controllers and CD-Rom drives are 2 different devices.
