Mouse on the actual laptop is not working

I am able to right click, and the regular right click
message shows up, but the left click is not recognized at
all...

It's no wonder the Mouse doesn't work "on the actual laptop" what with
the keyboard being all bumpy and such.

Are you talking about a real "mouse" hooked up to a port, a touchpad,
or one of those little movable "stick" things that sits in the middle
of the keyboard (I can't recall the correct name for the damn thing
right now)?
