I'm having a problem getting an Intel Pro/100 VE Network Connection adapter
to work. Windows XP Pro identifies the adapter when printing the Device List, but lists it with an exclamation point (!) under Other Devices in Device Manager. If I try to force install the driver from the Windows CD (SP1), which contains the driver for that exact adapter, it complains that "it cannot verify that this is the correct driver, and that the hardware may not work properly and may cause the computer to become unstable. Any ideas on what to do? |

This was entered by mistake in another group, but I got a response there
anyway, so please ignore this one. What was the fix? I'm upgrading a PC tomorrow with this
exact card! Thanks, Rick >-----Original Message----- >I'm having a problem getting an Intel Pro/100 VE Network Connection adapter >to work.
