Default Slow Bootup

Win XP Pro, 120 gb HD Master, 30 gb hd Slave, cdrw/cdr gforce 2 gts
vid card Asus A7V XP1800+ cpu (not overclocked)

I've been having problems with WinXP Pro taking up to 90 secs + to
boot to windows after flash screen. Once Windows is running there is
no problems at all.
I've been though all the usual trim startup programs clean out old
registry entries temp settings cleared etc etc. services manager
programs set as manual auto disable whats neccessary, Ive uninstalled
programs until only Win XP Pro is left. Sometimes it fixes the problem
but a week or 2 its back again. All files incl Win XP are yp to date
with the latest drivers. I also have a 30 gb HD as a slave.

I've noticed in some forums quite a number of people with similar
problem all have 120 gb HD's like myself. Is this a common problem
with 120 gb HD's.
