No matter what I do I keep getting a message telling me
that my Virtual Memory is low. I've changed the Initial size and the Maximum size. Unless it has something to do with running AOL, I have know idea. Can anyone help? |

And the computer this is happening on belongs to a friend of mine. I wouldn't have AOL on a bet. I guess I'll see if I can get him to switch to something else and see if that helps. |

See MVP Alex Nichol's article on virtual memory in Windows XP at http://aumha.org/win5/a/xpvm.htm especially the section dealing with problems. Good luck Ron Martell Duncan B.C. If found, remove that item. Then go here, read all the documentation, and if appropriate install the latest version of the I.A.A. http://www.intel.com/support/chipsets/iaa/ http://www.intel.com/support/chipsets/iaa/tti001.htm -- For most XP answers and tweaks... http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_abc.htm http://dougknox.com http://aumha.org http://support.microsoft.com |
