I can hear my (one year old) hard drive getting ready to
go. How hard a hassle is it to reinstall xp pro. Thanks Van |

http://www.bootdisk.com for your startup disks for XP. Backup key data,
then boot up with these disks and follow the instructions. You'll also need your XP CD handy. -- Norfolk & Way If a man says something in the woods and there are no women there, is he still wrong? Hello
Few things that you can do 1. Go out purcahse Norton's Ghost 2003 2. And just clone the old drive to the new drive 3. Depending on what drive you buy it does come with some software 4. Install the new drive and then set your old drive up as a slave If you install the new drive load XP and all drivers and then setup the old drive as a slave. You will have to jumper the drive correctly and also in your system Bios make the cdrom the primary bootdevice and boot your system up with the XP cdrom in, and just follow the steps Either way it's pretty simple and not hard at all Alvin tvsmith wrote: > I can hear my (one year old) hard drive getting ready to > go.
