Default HELP! Microsoft Tun Miniport Adapter won't uninstall.

In the Device mgr under network devices there is a
listing for a Microsoft Tun Miniport Adapter. Which I
have not activated or have any hardware by that name
installed on my pc. When I go to uninstall it...it tells
me that "This device is required to boot the pc" Which is
very odd considering that it was never there
before...Trying to fix this without a clean install if
possible...
Can someone please help me out?

Is it causing a problem, or does it just annoy you that it's there?

It's part of the Advanced Networking Pack that you downloaded from Microsoft
at some point.

In device manager, my Tun Miniport Adapter has a yellow exclamation
mark on it. How can I either fix it or remove the adapter?
