Default Athlon K7 (900Mhz) and XP problem

All,
I've recently "upgraded" from Athlon K7 500Mhz to K7 900Mhz.
I had no problems with the former on my XP. However, the latter gives me the
blue screen of death from time to time (once a day).

I suspect processor overheating but I am not really sure how to verify it.

My motherboead is MSI 6167.

I would be grateful for any help.

Regards,
Marcin Konopka

Steve,
I've actually already tried that as well as:
* installing K7 XP patch
* replacing the processor heatsink with another (used) heatsink

Should the heatsink touch the processor with its whole surface? Mine
touches it in the middle and you can see some space on the endges.

Also, my heatsink only has one fan. Is that enough for 900Mhz?

Thanks for your help in advace.

All,
My dumpchk results below. The bf8c9036 seems to point to Win32k.sys

Any suggestions?
