well my computer shutsdown for no reason..like im in the
middle of checking out a website, or talking to somebody online, or about to connect to the internet and then the screen turns black then blue and it says windows has been shut down to prevent and damages or somthing like that, and it says to check any newly installed hardware or software, but i havent installed any, so like i dont know whats going on...im not sure if its because i dont connect my scanner when i turn on my computer or because i dont connect my printer..im not sure, but whatever..this sux..can sumbody helip meeeeeeeeeeeeee |

What XP is trying to tell you is some driver as become on stable and it
needs to shutdown. Sometimes the blue screen can give you a clue to which driver it maybe. Their is always a reason otherwise it would not shut down.

Hopefully someone can tell the setting to make XP give the blue screen of death.
That's how I found out what device was giving me troubles. (I had to uninstall and re-install all of my video drivers, being very careful to make my uninstall complete (with extra shut-downs and such). |

Or go to the system (event) log where all this, previous,
