Missing hard drive after windows update

I have three western digital special editons hard drives
installed on a promise ata card. They are all partitioned
ntfs. After I start windows updates and install at the
updates. The last drive just disappears. It was there
prior to the update so I know that must be the issue. Has
anyone else come across this problem and if so could they
offer any suggestions?

If further info is needed let me know.

Which model promise card ?
