Does XP home edition support multiple processors

Default Does XP home edition support multiple processors


Does any one know if Windows XP home edition support
multiple processors (2)Or do i have to use Pro. Have both
but would prefer to use home addition on second pc and
not the primary one

Windows XP home supports only one CPU in the box. Pro supports 2.

XP HE only supports 1 CPU, but if that is a CPU with HT, it will be
supported by XP HE and it will be reported as 2 CPUs.
