Default USB 2.0 & FireWire Drive "Delayed Write Failed" Solution

I finally fixed my problem. First I went through everything and it
took over a year to finally discover what the problem was. I just
wanted to share my experience with everyone, who knows maybe it will
fix your problem too.

1. Try disabling the cache on the system - already set
2. Re-installing USB 2.0 drivers - didn't work
3. I can go on and on...

Now the little tiny "manual" (if we can call it that) said to set the
IDE hard disk to MASTER. So I did. But this only worked for a few
minutes. Originally it had been in CS (Cable Select) and I had a ton
of errors.

TRY SETTING THE IDE DRIVE JUMPER TO SINGLE DRIVE!

THIS WORKED FOR ME...

No more errors, no more disconnects, I am able to transfer either 1MB
or 30GB files with no problems at all for 3 months now.

Cheers everyone!!!
