Speakers are external hardware that have nothing to do with the OS in any way. In fact they have little to do with anything they're plugged into! They just make the sound they're given. If your sound card is incompatible with XP and does not work, then it doesn't matter what speakers you plug into it, you will get no sound. Either get another sound card, or another OS. Sorry.
