Lexmark Z65 XP problems

We have a Lexmark Z65 printer that XP appears to be having trouble with. It
won't always print (but sometimes does) and the Microsoft error reporting
pops up continuously until we reboot.

We have downloaded the latest drivers but that has not fixed the problem.
Is there some sort of XP issue going on here?

When you downloaded the latest drivers, did you uninstall the previous ones
as per Bruce Sanderson's article at:

http://members.shaw.ca/bsanders/CleanPrinterDrivers.htm

Pay particular attention to the special section on Lexmark printers.

If you did not remove the drivers from File, Server Properties, Drivers, you
are still using the old set.
