nice forum but a bit of a graveyard though.....people seem to stumble in as opposed to regular visits.........would a new problem forum help...??....for example operating system problems/answers specific...ie..win98/ME/2000/XP maybe 95 and NT not sure if they would be popular or not........anyway just a thought/observation

Thanks for the feedback. It's always quite quiet round here, we're looking for a way to jump start the community.

We'll bare your suggestions in mind for the site reprogram/redesign which we're currently working on, which will see a major overhaul of the way questions and answers are taken about users problems on the site.

Hi Legless 1...I think your point is well taken, and yes, it's definitely quiet in this forum. However, speaking as someone who has been involved in many such places, this one has a good 'feel' to it, if you know what i mean? It's a bit like the 'Cheers' bar of the IT forums...where everyone knows your name :spin:

As a result, I find that no matter what i ask, there's always someone who seems to go out of their way to get me an answer, because i might have responded to one of their questions before. And i always try to get good info for other people who ask questions in return. This is the place I go before all others to get a considered view rather than a quick dogmatic reply from some youngster who's just repeating what they've heard someone else say in another forum.

Peeps like Ian and Mucks and Quad and Matt (and those others i've failed to mention) put real effort in...that's what makes the forum a bit special in my book.

So stick around and be part of a close knit but open community.

I know this is old thread but i t o t a l l y with what 1nteger said

this is an awesome community and people do take time to reply and help out.

id much rather be part of a small(ish) community ie this one than a large one with thousands of people.

The local people here are so nice that they do not even object to a foreigner around like me!
