Default Trying to Resize Outlook Express

I have seen many posts on how to maximize Outlook Express but I have the
opposite problem (well, not quite opposite. I can minimize it) in that I
would like to make it smaller. But my cursor does not change at all no
matter where I run it over the border of the window. Basically, I have all
or nothing and I would like to run it at half size for example. Can't
imagine how to do this?

I've used v.6 so long I can't remember previous versions now, but assuming
you're using OE6, does your cursor change when you run it over the bottom
right corner (with the dimples)? It should work anywhere on the border, but
if it doesn't work in that spot, I'd firstly try running repair on it.

Hi, Nevermore.

Right-click on the Taskbar button for OE to see the context menu. If Size
is greyed out, click Restore. Then click Size. Use the 4-way arrow, with
your mouse or keyboard arrows, to move your borders to suit yourself. It's
a bit tricky, but you can figure it out by trial and error.

thanks both Chek and RC. RC, the trick worked. Chek, I have lost my
"dimples" somehow--not sure where they went and not sure how to do a
"repair" but will investigate. In the meanwhile, was able to resize. So
thank you again.
