My girlfriends computer, a toshiba laptop running win xp with latest updates. When I hit ALT CTR DEL to taskmanager comes up showing the graphs but NOT the tabs which would let me switch to processes and applications.(so I can't close applications). She only has a disk which restores things to the condition of the a new computer. Advice would be appreciated. |

I can't remember how to get out of it - I think it's something to do with right-clicking in the grey border of what you _can_ see. -- J. P. Gilliver. To change back and forth from this mode to regular mode, just double-click on the border. -- Ken Blake, Microsoft MVP (Windows Desktop Experience) since 2003 Please Reply to the Newsgroup |
