I have my Word 2003 template with macros and shortcuts for them. I make Word
2007 .ditm template base on Word 2003 template as says Help. But: 1. there is no any macro in new templates. I use organize for adding macros 2. I lost all my shortcuts. I must assign them again (labour-intensive). Note when I returned to reassign dialoge all my shortcuts do not showed but work properly. Do you know a sliple way to transform all your template settings? |

If this is a document template, leave it alone. Word dot format templates
work in Word 2007 albeit.some macro functions will no longer work. If you want to convert it to dotm format, then open the template in Word 2007 and save as DOTM format. Whether the macros will work in Word 2007 is another issue entirely. -- <>>< ><<> ><<> <>>< ><<> <>>< <>><<> Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org <>>< ><<> ><<> <>>< ><<> <>>< <>><<> Sevilho wrote: > I have my Word 2003 template with macros and shortcuts for them. French is not included by default with a Swedish Office installation. I
belive you need the Microsoft Office 2003 Proofing Tools, but I don't know if it's still available, given the fact that Office 2007 is the current version. -- Stefan Blom Microsoft Word MVP "Sevilho" wrote: > I have my Word 2003 template with macros and shortcuts for them. If you are saying that Word runs properly when it is started in Safe mode,
that indicates a problem with an add-in, with the Normal template or with the registry. See http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/AppErrors...tartingWord.htm. -- Stefan Blom Microsoft Word MVP "afworks" wrote: > stefan can you help me.....posted this in word 2003 post errors....but no > answer: > this is the error message..AppName: winword.exe AppVer: 10.0.6854.0 ModName: > winword.exe > > ModVer: 10.0.6854.0 Offset: 005d178a > > ..every time i close word and outlook 2003 this message comes up. also word > is slow to boot and very slow to exit...then this message appears. opens and > closes fine in safe mode. changing to non hp printer did not help either. i > do have windows live. however i had office 2002 with the same problem, so i > upgraded to 2003 thinking that would help....it did not. thank you for your > time and consideration > i still have this problem: as said in first post:"afworks" > <afworks@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message > news:E41772B3-BAAA-4D07-9D89-CA623AD0ECCC@microsoft.com... > > this is the error message..AppName: winword.exe AppVer: 10.0.6854.0 > > ModName: > > winword.exe > > > > ModVer: 10.0.6854.0 Offset: 005d178a > > > > ..every time i close word and outlook 2003 this message comes up. also > > word > > is slow to boot and very slow to exit...then this message appears. opens > > and > > closes fine in safe mode. changing to non hp printer did not help either. > > i > > do have windows live. however i had office 2002 with the same problem, so > > i > > upgraded to 2003 thinking that would help....it did not. thank you for > > your > > time and consideration > ALSO I AM USING WINDOWS XP-----!!!!!!!
