Default RTL "Unable to start driver for HPZipm12.exe"

I was with AT&T tech support for two hours to get IE7 to connect to the
internet and in one of the last steps I brought up a window with a list of
things (I can't remember the name of the window), checked just a couple to
save and deleted the rest of the list, as instructed. After that I got the
above RTL error message window and was no longer able to print on my hp psc
2210x1 all-in-one printer. I uninstalled the HP printer program and
reinstalled it with the CD that came with the printer and rebooted but still
got the error. I have chatted with 4 HP tech support people but they could
not help me with my problem. The last one said I had a registry issue. Is
that the issue and how to I solve it?

An undefined "registry issue" is a cop-out. It means the tech support
person has no idea what's going on.

One possibility is that your printer driver became corrupted and you
didn't remove all of it.

Try the directions from MVP Cari here:
http://www.coribright.com/windows/Article_One.htm

If that doesn't work, directions for an even more thorough printer
driver cleanout are here:
