Outlook 2003 on Exchange server
I'm not sure what has actually happened; I've just been called to fix it. A user has changed her account by checking "Use Cached Exchange Mode." Somehow in the process, her calendar was moved to her personal folder. She has tried to move the calendar back to the Mailbox and now has two calendars in her Mailbox and two in her Personal folder. I'm mystified. Is there a way to select all items in a calendar and move them into -- not under but into -- another calendar? It also appears that she can't delete a calendar once it's been created. |

Set it to a Table view like "All appointments" CTRL+A to select all,
drag and drop. AnotherNewGuy wrote: > Outlook 2003 on Exchange server > > I'm not sure what has actually happened; I've just been called to fix it. Enabling Cached Exchange mode shouldn't have done what you describe, as far as I can tell. It affects Exchange accounts where the delivery location is the Exchange mailbox by enabling the use of an OST as a local cache reflecting the contents of the mailbox. It does not change the delivery location. That had to have been done on Tools>E-mail Accounts>View or change existing e-mail accounts>Next. I don't think she told you the whole story. Change the delivery location back to the mailbox and copy the contents of the folders (not the folders themselves) back to the mailbox. -- Brian Tillman [MVP-Outlook] |

Thanks for the suggestions. I think she doesn't understand everything she
tried. I won't be back there until Thursday, but I'll see if I can help with these suggestions.
