Default server service problem

Hello

I cannot access any network computers, but other pc's can access my
pc.
When I try to look at a another pc it says server service not running.
When I look at the services section it says the server service is
running.
I can log on to maped drives. But no pcs in my workgroup.
What could be the problem?

Hi
The terms Computers and Network are very broad terms that actually say
nothing about your own Network makeup, and what its computers running.
In general.
Make sure that the Software Firewall on each computer allows free local
traffic. If you use 3rd party Firewall On, Vista/XP Native Firewall should
be Off, and the active Firewall has to adjusted to your Network IP numbers
on what is some time called the Trusted Zone (consult your 3rd Party
Firewall instructions.
