Default Athlon MP 2100+ Now Available
AMD announced today the immediate release of the Athlon MP 2100+ (1.73 GHz) processor, designed for use in servers. This processor can be used in either single processor or dual-processor environments and is built on AMD's old 0.18 micron process, as opposed to the new 0.13 micron process which the Athlon XP 2200+ is built on.

The price will retail for about $262 US which is just slightly more than the 2100+ Athlon XP.
