Getting message "Wizard found new hardware" Have a HP 712c printer.
This shows a HP710 printer I no idea what brought this on ,how do i fixthe problem? Thank you for any help |

It's an old printer, so maybe you have an old OS too. Sounds like it lost the drivers or they got corrupted. You would then want to remove the hardware and reinstall the drivers as original. Find then on the Internet if you need them. These things happen. Every time you boot the computer, something bad can happen. It might even fix itself if you reboot a couple of times, which you must have tried unsuccessfully by now. You might have moved the printer to a different port too. You could try going through the wizard and pointing to your HP folder or various system folders to see if it can find the drivers. If you still have the original program disk for the printer and your OS, I wouldn't waste much time trying to fix the bad files. |
