Import Export Feature not available - Outlook Backupfile.pst load

My harddisc crashed - so I need to import my Outlook Backupfile
"Outlookbackup.pst". I tried to import the file, but I get the error message
"Import/Export function is not available - reinstall the function...". I did
this several times - but still get the error message " Import/ Export
function is not available"
How can I load / get my Outlookbackup.pst activated ?

You dont 'need to import'
Within Outlook, File>Open>Data File.......browse to the pst
Its assumed the pst is located on your hd, with read only attribute off

1. Don't import. Rename the file to to remove import from the name and open
it within outlook.
2. How did you create this file? What version of Outlook do you use and
where did you get it from? Some standalone copies (not part of the office
suite) don't have import/export.
