Default import or file copy?

Hi! Sorry to bother but I have a quick question. I'm
migrating my Outlook 2000 pst file from my old computer
(XP Pro, SP2) to my new computer (XP Pro, SP3) where I have
also installed Outlook 2000 (from my old original disk).
Now my question is: is it better to import each folder
into the new pst file or should I just delete the new
default pst file and copy over the old one? I've read that
the import can be flaky and not a good idea and I was
wondering if that was the case.

Thanks in advance!

Copy old pst to a location on new PC, within outlook File>Open>Personal
Folders........browse to this pst.
Either copy data or leave it open

If the versions of outlook are the same, you can open the old file,
preferably by adding the pst to the profile and setting it as default as you
create the profile in Control panel, mail.
