Default Archiving with 2003 Outlook

How can I archive my emails from 2007 Outlook so that it merges with my 2003
Archive. using two archive files is simply too cumbersome to be useful.
There must be a way to combine the two files into one - I just want to know
what it is!

Just set both programs to use the same archive PST file. Of course you can't
have both Outlook's open at once since Outlook locks any PST file you open
until Outlook closes. In addition use of PST files across a network share
isn't supported and may lead to problems or corruption.

This is a programming group, by the way, not a group for user questions.
