Default Stacked Bar Chart

I want to make a stacked bar chart using data from three columns. I want the
first two numbers to stack and compare with the third column. Is that
possible?

I do using Excel 2007. If you structure your data so the stacked series is on
the first row and the individual series is on the second row. When you do a
stacked column chart it initially displays 3 as separate series until you
switch row/column.

Thanks:

I don't know if I was clear or not, and a am a little confused by your
answer. I have three columns. 1st column contains dates. 2nd & 3rd contain
money amounts and the 4th contains another set of money amounts. i want to
add a stacked chart showing the money amounts for each row. I want columns
B&C numbers stacked (added together) and I want to compare them to column D.
