Hi,
It's certainly possible. Are you sure they preinstalled x64? That'd be unusual as most are preinstalled with x86 (the 32 bit version). If it's x64, it will designate that in the system type line of system properties. If it truly is, then what steps are you taking to install x86, and (please be specific) where does it fail? Also, a preinstalled system should already include x64 drivers for wired/wireless internet access, you should not have to revert to 32-bit for that. At worst, all you may need to do is download and install an appropriate driver. As to iTunes, you simply need a higher version as described here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1426 -- Best of Luck, Rick Rogers, aka "Nutcase" - Microsoft MVP http://mvp.support.microsoft.com/ Windows help - www.rickrogers.org My thoughts http://rick-mvp.blogspot.com "Echo17121" <guest@unknown-email.com> wrote in message news:7431a9961eb713c796ce844fd94248b1@nntp-gateway.com... > > Hi, I just purchased a machine with a 64 bit OEM.
