Default Antec 1030 Stealthing

Anyone know how to stealth a creative 52x cd-rom on an antec 1030? The 5 1/4 cover doesn't fit into it all teh way when i try to put it in. Theres still a 1mm - 1cm portion of the cover sticking out. And yes... I removed the face plates. I think its the volume wheel and led... but i don't want to risk taking them off.

sounds like you need to sit the drive itself further into the case

I can't, the 1030 case uses drive rails, not the traditional screw the in from the sides. So if I do that, it goes too far and... you get the point.
