Default How to Run Executable as Administrator Without Right-Click

Is there a way to run an executable file as the Administrator without using
the right-click context menu? I ask because I lost my ability to access the
right-click context menu, and the patch which fixes the problem must be run
by me as Administrator.

Default RE: How to Run Executable as Administrator Without Right-Click

Hello Terry,
Did you lose the mouse button's ability to right-click?
Try using Shift -F10 to generate the right click menus.

If you lost the context menus completely try this.
locate the cmd prompt ( start - programs - accessories - Command Prompt)
Drag it to the desktop
Click on it to select it but not open it( it's highlighted)

while highlighted, hit ALT and Enter keys
This opens the properties page
On the shortcut button, click the advanced button
Check the box that states run as administrator
Now you can click that shortcut and it will default to opening as
administrator ( you have to confirm it)
You are in an elevated cmd prompt so if you run the installation of patch
from this command prompt it should be elevated)

Thanks,
