Have made some of my folders Private after allowing
network sharing. I am not able to restore these folders back to normal as the check boxes are low intensity and l cannot access it. How is it possible to restore these folders to normal again so l can access them via my home local network. I know l can move them to Shared Documents, but this is not what l want to do. I am running XP Pro with service pack 1 update. |

Try this, open Windows Explorer, go to Tools, select Folder Options, go to
the View tab, remove the check from "Use simple file sharing," click apply and ok. -- Michael Solomon MS-MVP Windows Shell/User Backup is a PC User's Best Friend DTS-L.Org: http://www.dts-l.org/ "Michael" <anonymous@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:05fa01c3ab0a$22f65ee0$a101280a@phx.gbl... > Have made some of my folders Private after allowing > network sharing.
