RAW file system

Hi all
I have a laptop with WIN XP HOME and I have installed a
USB 2.0 case with my old IDE HDD in so i can access my
files, but I can't.
The file system appears to be RAW so I can't see the
content of my hard disk or access him inside.
Can anyone help me or tell me what to do?
