Default Can't send mail in Win mail

Hi, I've been sending my mail just fine with Win mail then all of a sudden
I keep getting these error messages. I reformatted my computer and now I'm
getting a second one. Here is the message I'm getting.
The message could not be sent. The authentication setting might not be
correct for your outgoing e-mail [SMTP] server. For help solving this
problem, go to Help, search for "Troubleshoot Windows Mail", and read the
"I'm having problems sending e-mail" section. If you need help determining
the proper server settings, please contact your e-mail service provider.

The rejected e-mail address was 'dmbelanger@shaw.ca'. Subject 'Hi ladies ',
Account: 'Tracie', Server: 'mail.so.centurytel.net', Protocol: SMTP, Server
Response: '550 5.7.1 <dmbelanger@shaw.ca>... Relaying denied: You must check
for new mail before sending mail.', Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error:
550, Error Number: 0x800CCC79

Can you help me work through this, I"m about to pull my hair out.

Does you connection to that server cross over from one internet provider's
equipment to another's before it reaches the server? If so, connections
to port 25 are often blocked to cause trouble for spammers.

See if any of these help:

http://support.centurytel.net/index...elp_email_winxp

http://support.centurytel.net/?acti...turytel.support

Also, the error message suggests that you can use port 25 anyway for
a short time after you click the triangle to the right of Send/Receive,
then Receive All.

Try doing a Receive All and then a Send All.
