I cannot send emails. I get the following message
The connection to the server has failed. Subject 'test', Account: 'mail.comcast.net', Server: 'smtp.comcast.net', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 10060, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E Inbound works fine. Anybody had this problem with comcast? |

Go to Tools, Accounts, select the Comcast account, Properties,
Advanced. Under Outgoing (SMTP) server, change the port number from 25 to 587. Then go to the Servers tab and enable "My server requires authentication." -- Gary VanderMolen, MS-MVP (WLMail) "Doyleman" <Doyleman@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:412B8A1B-C65C-4CDB-935A-AFD322CE3AED@microsoft.com... >I cannot send emails.
