Account Setttings Change On Their Own

My incoming (POP3) setting keeps changing for Outlook Express 6 from what it
should be to 127.0.0.1 and the outgoing server port numbers keeps changing
from what it should be to 110. Everytime I close out Outlook Express and open
it up the settings have changed and need to be reset everytime.

Firstly note that OE doesn't exist on Vista - the group you have posted to
is for the successor to OE, that comes with Vista.

Try disabling your AV Mail scanning function.

The "127.0.0.1" setting is typically done by an anti-spam or anti-
virus program. What type of third party security software are
you running?
