This is something that has happened recently. If I try to post all I see is
the reply (eg "Re: .......) and not my original post. Don't know why Vista Mail has started doing this. If anyone has any ideas please let me know and hopefully I will be able to see them ![]() Cheers. Si |

To check for this, click on Tools, then Message Rules, then News. Go down the list, clicking on each item, and look for one that says to delete messages from your newsgroup return address or even just the part of your newsgroup return address after the @. While displaying any such rule for your own messages, click on Remove and approve the removal. When you reach the end of the list, click OK. Note that if you're using a fake newsgroup return address, you could have tried to killfile someone else using the same fake return address, and as a result, set it up to delete incoming messages posted by either of you. Also, a few newsgroup providers assume that you don't need to download any posts that you made. |

Thanks for your replies. I don't have any message rules set up so I don't
think that's the problem. Also I tried removing the check from "Get New Headers" but that didn't help either. Weird thing is I can see this post but on some other newsgroups that I post on regularly, my original posts are not showing up but I do see replies so I guess other people can see them. Strange??? Cheers. After unchecking download xxx headers at a time, right click on the NG name
in the folder list and then go to Properties | Local file and then click the Reset button. Then go back to the NG and hit Refresh and it should then download all the messages. steve "Si" <sp@m.sucks> wrote in message news:Ov9iQpypIHA.2068@TK2MSFTNGP05.phx.gbl... > Thanks for your replies.
